This pair of pillow cases are from Traditional Series of EastBest. They use well hidden zippers to easily slip over your pillows. The material is shiny dark cyan Thai silk and silver brocade. The patterns are the cursive style Chinese calligraphy of an famous poem called "Spring Morning":

This spring morning in bed I'm lying,
Not to awake till the birds are crying.
After one night of wind and showers,
How many are the fallen flowers?

Wash Instructions:

Dry cleaning is the best way to keep Thai silk in good condition and maintain its original beauty, luster, and texture. You can also hand wash it in lukewarm water using the mildest soap. Add a table spoonful of clear white vinegar added to the final rinse.

Never wring your Thai silk! Dry it in the shade, preferably where there's a mild breeze, and be sure it's well supported.

Iron Thai silk on the inside of the garment while it is still slightly damp. If already dry, apply a damp cloth on the outside and iron through the cloth. Properly cared for Thai silk can easily last a century.

Please note: Thai silk is usually shiny and lustrous because it has triangular fibers which reflect light like prisms and layers of protein that gives it a natural sheen and makes it lustrous and smooth. Some Thai silk has two tones, which means the fabric color changes depending on the angle at which it is viewed. Therefore it is usually difficult to get accurate colors on the pictures. Please ask questions when you are not sure about the colors! Also please keep in mind that different computers display colors differently.
