What a gorgeous carving! The stick is very well presented with all of its curves and swirls, and really adds some fun and fanciful flair to your 'do. I ordered the mahogany, and it is not quite as fiery orange as I expected, but it has such a lovely and varied grain that I don't mind. The curved stick may be a bit tricky at first, but it's pretty easy to get used to after a few tries. Though I think the price should be a bit lower in the future, maybe $18.00 or so, it is definitely worth the purchase if you're looking for some fantasy-based decoration.

Beautiful piece, very elegant. When I first saw it, I thought of Japanese mythology of fox-fire. It suits someone like me who's head is constantly in a fairytale world.

My only complaint is that I can’t afford one of every wood! I love the little fox carving at the end. It adds something unexpected to an otherwise boring outfit, so I wear it all the time!

I have the fox hair stick, the rosewood one, and I’m considering buying another one because my daughter is always “borrowing” it from me. We both love the design and the flair it adds to our hair-do. I think I’ll just have to buy her one for her birthday so we can each have one. I’ve noticed how she struts around the house with it stuck in her hair. It’s such a confidence booster!
