Item Description

[Material] Polyester
[Size] Approx. 58" by 14" (without stretch)

A beautiful scarf can add glamour and chic sophistication to a simple shift dress, a classic crewneck sweater or your favorite blouse. Keep a scarf in your purse and it will be your secret weapon when you have to go to a party right after work! Just like perfume, scarf is another must-have for women...

Very romantic style! A beautiful gradient from cofee to white. Great add-on to coat/sweater as well as evening dress!

"Bohemia" is no longer a place on the map. In other words, there is no tribe consisting of little men dressed in loose fitting embroidered clothing wandering the "Bohemia" Landscape.

The literal definition and original meaning of the term "Bohemian is: "A native or inhabitant of the former province of western Czechoslovakia." The name was derived from the Latin term for the Celtic tribe (Boii) inhabiting that area. A secondary meaning for the term Bohemian emerged in early 19th century France.

The term was used to describe a group of artists, writers, and disenchanted people of all sorts who wished to live a non-traditional lifestyle. The term resurfaced again among the art community in Grenwich Village in the early 1900's. The self-proclaimed "Bohemians" saw themselves as non-conformists who lived unconventionally. They accomplished this by showing a defiance to mainstream culture through their dress and behavior. They purposely dressed in any kind of clothing that was passé or eccentric strictly to undermine popular opinion. As such, "Bohemian" Fashion as popular culture is a contradiction in terms because it was originally used by those who were anything but "Fashionable."

The 21st century definition of Bohemian Fashion (or "Bohemian Chic") is a creative mix of ethnic and vintage items influenced by Gypsy, Morrocan, and Indian flavors. Tiered peasant skirts, embroidered pieces, long tunics, kimono style tops, fuller pants and skirts are examples of the more popular Clothing styles.
